Getting ranked of the front page of Google can seem like a pipe-dream for anyone just starting out on the internet. I know that’s how I felt when I first ventured online.
Actually, it’s not that hard when you know how it all works.
It is my intention with this article to expose the simple steps in getting your content ranked for free on Google. After you learn these simple steps you will be able to consistently get your content ranked!
Step #1 – Pick your keyword. If you are new to online marketing and don’t know what I mean by Keyword or how to do research on which ones to target watch this video >>>> Keywords
Step #2 – Write quality content using that Keyword. It is important to use your Keyword in your title and in the body of your article but don’t overdo it. You want your article to be readable and too many keywords makes it look spammy. A Keyword loaded article will many times get rejected by the article directories which we will touch on in Step 3.
Step #3 – Submit your content. Now you could do this all manually but that would take forever and time is valuable, right? What you want to do is get your article out to as many blog, article, social media, status and video sharing sites as possible. Video sites? Yes, video sites are huge for traffic and ranking but we will get to that at another time. I use Unique Article Wizard to submit my articles to 100′s of blogs and directories. Now this works 2 fold. First, many times the articles themselves will will get ranked when submitted to a popular blog or directory and second, all the articles create 100′s of back-links to your website. Actually there is much more advanced stuff you can do but lets take one step at a time.
If you will take the time to complete these 3 simple steps you will start to see your content and websites ranked on Google.

I have never heard of this Unique Article Wizard before. I thought it might be like Only Wire but it seems a lot more indepth or more powerful than that!
Im not in MLSP or involved in any NM or MLM but I did definitely find this really interesting!

Thanks for the comment! I thought so too about OnlyWire but they are very different. OnlyWire submits to bookmarking sites and UAW helps you make 1 article into 100′s of unique articles and then gets it out to 100′s of blogs and directories. OnlyWire is powerful but UAW is even so much more
Howie, Good stuff! I am a big PPC guy and this is very good information. I use some of these strategies, but you provided me some information that I was not aware of and I can certainly use. I was a big Google Adwords user until recently I was “slapped”. I guess Google is trying to weed out people that are involved in network marketing, affiliate marketing etc…Anyways this is an excellent post, and I am going to bookmark so I can reference it again. I know it will be very useful for getting on the first page of Google for the free ads.

Great blog! I can relate to what you say in this post, when I first started online it seemed incomprehensible that I ever would get a first page ranking on Google. Now I have many blog posts, articles, and videos with front page rankings.
This is easily accomplished using your tips here, but only if the keywords are right. I usually look for keywords with over 1,000 searches per month and less than 10,000 competing pages. I find these numbers will usually produce good SEO results.

You are absolutely right Kathy, only if the keywords are right! So many times people aren’t doing the proper research on their keywords and end up ranking for a keyword that no one is searching. Congrats on your success getting ranked! It’s fun, isn’t it?

Hi Howie, great post. I agree that if you submit to many article directories, UAW is probably your best bet. I have used them for a while. I like there system.
The one thing I would add to your list is social bookmarking. There is no faster way to get a page indexed than to use social bookmarking.

Hey Bruce ~ When you submit an article it will have you re-phrase your article paragraph by paragraph. Then they now are able to take the paragraphs an interchange them with the article still making sense but being unique as well. Very cool!

Great advice, it really is as simple as that.
For some it seems like a lot of work but if one consistently create one article a week then at the end of the year they will have fifty two articles generating traffic for them (plus all of the spun articles)

This is an excellent explanation of the very basics everyone needs to know to get into the game. I know of Unique Article Wizard. I am personally a fan of Automatic Article Submitter. Definitely submitting to multiple directories is a powerful technique and if it becomes a habit, it’s only a matter of time before Google notices us. Thank you for a clear and easy explanation.

Wow, I am kind of speechless here. I need to study this further. There is so much that I do not have a good handle on. I want to be one of the 10 but not sure what that means and do not want to waist your time. I need SEO but do not need MLM. (I think) I need to communicate to a very narrow target of CEO manufacturers only. And they are notorious for rejecting MLM and even Social Media. This is why I am not sure I am a good candidate, although I really need the SEO that the wizard offers.

Having spent the last 10 years ranking my own sites, I can vouch for there not being a secret. It does take a lot of work to create unique content and get links, but it’s worth it for sure. The only other option is PPC, and you can burn through a ton of money doing that.

I agree it really is that simple if you do the work. I’ve never tried the UAW. I did try some other article spinner but it just created a bunch of inarticulate articles. The thought of having to proof read 100 articles before submitting them has turned me off to article spinners. The prospect of going through the submission process turns me off as well (logins, passwords, emails, ugh!). I submit my articles to ezine articles and I’ve managed to get two websites and several articles on Google’s page one for both my broad and phrase match keywords. I do believe that “one bad apple don’t spoil the whole bunch girl” (I’m dating myself) so I will watch your UAW video to see what’s doing. Thanks for sharing.
