Having a strong belief in your MLM company and products is crucial to your success!
If you don’t believe in what you are doing or the products that you are selling than you will most likely not have success. Your lack of confidence will shine right through to your prospects.
So, how do you build your belief?
That’s simple 
GO TO TRAINING!
Any good Network Marketing Company has a solid training program (Not a Rah-Rah session…actual Nuts and Bolts of how to’s) for you to take a part in. This should not be an option that you give yourself, make it a must!
Most people that get into a Network Marketing company have a “I don’t need to get trained”, “I’m to cool” or “I’m already great at sales” type of mentality.
Well, I’ll tell you right now, if this is your attitude then you might as well quit right now because you will most likely fail at this business! Save yourself some time and go back to working a 9 to 5!
Network Marketing is not natural for most people and requires specific skills to become successful. So, check your EGO at the door and become a sponge!
A great training program will help your MINDSET and BELIEF! At trainings you will meet the founders of your company, top income earners and learn step by step how to WIN at your business.
I know our company statistics show that Reps attending our trainings earn 5X’s more than the people that don’t. NOW THAT’s IMPRESSIVE!
You can also build your mindset by attending meetings on a regular basis, listening to your companies conference calls and SIMPLY just BEING AROUND THE ENVIRONMENT!
I know as a new Network Marketer it can be a little overwhelming with all of the calls, webinars and meetings your up-line will tell you about because initially I felt the same way Trust me, being a part of these as much as you can will help you start to build a strong POSTURE about your company and its products to help you fend off the well-intentioned DREAM-STEALERS in your life!
What you need to do from the very beginning is sit down and have a GAME-PLAN session with your SPONSOR. This will allow you to set up some goals and help your sponsor understand “WHY” you are doing this business and how much time you want to commit! If your sponsor is non-existent then find someone who has what you want and model what they do.

Hey Howie, Great post! You are spot on with this one. Training is where it’s at. I am a firm believer that Knowledge is power! The more training we involve ourselves in, the more skillsets we aquire. I am constantly educating myself and learning new skills. I really enjoy learning new things and sharing what I learn. In my mind, this is the key to success!

The mindset is everything. I have so many people try to tell me about their sales ability when they us. I tell them to throw it all out the window and learn our system and forget about the past.
